Submitted as part of Friday Fictioneers in response the photo attached below. It’s a lot of fun trying to hit that 100 word mark. why not give it a go!

“Here we are.” John pulled the car over and pointed. Jane peered through the window and back to John.
“What do you think? It’s not much but the neighbours are real nice”.
Jane looked back through the window, her mouth agape.
“Well, do you want to come in?” his voice quivering with anticipation.
Many responses lined up in Jane’s head and as she filtered through them she continued to stare at the house they had driven 50 miles to reach.
Jane turned to John, looked him in the eyes and without missing a single beat replied, “What. The. Actual. Fuck?”
She doesn’t like the house then? 🙂
Not that impressed, no 😀
How much did he pay for that beauty? The house, not the woman. She’s a bit ugly inside. Life’s about enjoying the journey, not the destination, right?
Quite true. Though this bloke does sound like a bit of a loon 😉
Really, What the fuck? I enjoyed it!
Thanks very much!
Well I don’t blame her; I mean, really?
Guess she didn’t like it.
I’m on her side. The doors should at least be all the same colour, right? 😉 Nothing a can of paint won’t fix…..
Is that a design-eye or OCD? 😉
Hehehe! 🙂
She’s not impressed. But maybe she should meet the nice neighbors before she completely slams the whole thing?
Who knows that the neighbours were really like. If this was the guy’s idea of a house, the neighbours may well have been raccoons for all she knew! 🙂
I agree with her – I prefer to have walls. Although, I probably would think my loved one had tricked me into viewing an “Art Installation” , just trying to give me some modern culture – on the other hand, this could be something really amazing. A house with invisible walls, or “What the fuck, man????
Maybe he is just the “outdoorsy” type?
