This is where you are and this is what we're doing

I’ve lost count of the times I’ve sat down to look at new ways of writing a blog. Choosing a site. Deciding on a template. Finding another template because that one wasn’t nice enough. Spending hours refining and customising and then, finally, hitting the default button.

I’ve lost count of the times that I’ve opened a new blog and had an opening post that says “I’m going to try blogging again” or “I’ve got a new blog”.

I’ve lost count, but then I’ve never been very good with numbers, so we can let that slide, right? I blame the uprise of social media, Facebook, Twitter and the like seem to be the place to go to write a load of old rubbish quickly and to a degree, sufficiently. But I’m greedy. I want more space. I also want you to enjoy reading what I enjoy writing.

And that, my friends, is the trick.
I’ve never quite got that right with this writing lark but here I am again willing to give it another try.

So please bear (it’s bear, right? not bare?) with me as I begin the rebirth of a new blogging adventure.
