Like a cold cup of coffee
when you expected it to be hot.
Like a rain cloud in September
when it promised it would not.
Like a Valentines unopened.
Like a poem left unread.
Like when I say I miss you
and you leave the words unsaid.
I read this ..whilst drinking cold coffee!
I don’t know if to “Huzzah!” that, or “Bazooo!” that. I guess it all depends on whether you dig cold coffee or not. A quick glance at your blog makes me think you made that coffee early doors, got the kids ready, forgot you made coffee, then found said coffee, sipped then discovered it was cold.
