Harry shoots for the moon

fireplace and colouring book

Harry had always dreamed of visiting a galaxy far, far away and on Tuesday he bumped into a kindly woman who promised him the stars.

Harry, not being a complete idiot, said that he didn’t talk to strangers (let alone visit the outer rim with them). The shrewd old dear gave her name and twitter handle, and pointed out that they were no longer strangers.

Harry was convinced.

She took him to a shack deep in the woods, furnished with colouring books, chocolates, games and a hot roaring fire where Harry, 42, proposed and they all lived happily ever after.

I guess that ended pretty well for everyone – as long as Harry never learns the truth… Nice one 🙂

An endearing story that I hope is more than a fairy tale for some.

It felt nice to write a happy ever after!

Delightful! I hope one and all live happily ever after. What can go wrong in a house in the woods, chocolates and a nice warm fire?

That was good, I was thinking bad thoughts when you mentioned the outer rim (aged 51!) loved it, nicely done

Great take, visiting the outer rim had me thinking bad thoughts (aged 51) sorry about that, well told!

One is never too old to be wary of strangers or to be entertained by games and chocolate.

I remain suspicious but she did share her chocolate so there’s that. Maybe that’s all you need for a happy ending.
