Ronda’s Cooking

The cupboard sighed as Ronda opened the door.

It was her turn to cook dinner tonight, just like the other nights. She was proud of her ability to cook most things from scratch but boy was she bored.

She’d been scrutinising the midweek recipes section of her cookbooks looking for something simple and delicious. Hell, she’d take “somewhat edible” at this stage.

Ronda slammed the cupboard shut and went to the “emergency drawer” of the freezer, pulled out two ready meals and threw them in the oven.

That night, her fiancé, Richard, exclaimed “that’s the best meal yet!”

Ronda sighed.
