Rich burns the candle

“I’m so freaking tired,” Rich said.

Kate turned her head and shot him a look. He didn’t notice.

Rich fidgeted with the PlayStation controller and continued.

“I get up at 8, roll into work, get shouted at all day, and still have to squeeze the gym in before I get home. It’s really killing me.”

Kate removed the suckling baby from her sore nipple.

“Really?” She said quietly, barely having the energy to raise a weary eyebrow.

“I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with that. How was your dinner?”

He didn’t look up from the screen. “Yeah great, hon.”
