Ted breaks down

“And you’ve never spoken to anyone before?”

Ted looked up, laughing. He thought the question was dumb. He thought all the questions were dumb.

“Of course I’ve spoken to people before. I’m not a complete recluse.”

“Let me rephrase that: Have you ever spoken to a professional about how you’ve been feeling?”

“Well,” Ted thought for a moment, despite knowing the answer.

“I’ve never paid for one-on-one time. Not since the 70’s anyway, and it was just that once. She was lovely. Very exotic. Casandra.”

“Ted,” the tone was serious. “Can we talk about putting your clothes back on now?”

Ted seems entirely sane to me, if a little whimsical

    Dear Peter,

Oh dear. That last line gave me a chuckle for sure. Well done.

    Shalom,

Nothing wrong about wanting to be alone.

  4. Sandra

I think Ted is enjoying himself rather more than he should be. Very funny!

I admire the calm the person talking with Ted maintains. In some places running around without your clothes will get you shot by the police.

Hilarious, Mr B. Love the voice(s). Couldn’t help thinking of the brilliant Pink Floyd line: “….quiet desperation is the English way.”

Oops! I didnt see that coming.

Such a great ending – still laughing here 😅

Where is he, wandering the woods naked? Explains his disrespect to be left alone.

Oh, that was great… that last line – I’m still giggling!
