I remember that New Year’s Eve.
Colin and Beryl came over unexpectedly, not that they weren’t welcome, it was just… Miserable pair. There was enough food though. Only some little nibbles: bread sticks, ham, cheese, olives, you know.
I sent Phillip to grab some garden chairs. It wasn’t a problem, I just wish I’d known.
Beryl’s Lucy is vegan now. I don’t get that. Still, we had olives as I say, in case she dropped by as well. You never know with them. Joined at the hip those two. Haven’t seen her for a while, mind. Not since the accident.
