Martin Travels to Ikea

Time travel is not an exact science. Thatโ€™s what the poster said on the canteen wall. I think it was supposed to be funny.

Iโ€™m surprised nobody had taken it down by now.

One errant digit. One minute miscalculation and there would be serious consequences.

Take Martin for instance. Heโ€™d supposed to have arrived in the stock room of an Ikea, but instead ended up in the carpark just as someone was reversing out of a spot.

BLAM. Flat-packed Martin.

โ€œHe came out of nowhere,โ€ protested the driver.

Obviously thatโ€™s not quite true. The future is always around the corner.

Oh dear, Martin. Gotta watch out for the rotation of the planet. He didn’t come out of nowhere so much as nowhen!

Can’t wait until time travel is commonplace. “He came out of nowhere” gave me a chuckle.

So my question is: Did this poor flat-packed guy die in real time? Same way?

I think you’ve put me off time travel ๐Ÿ™‚

This is great. Shame about the direction of the landing zone behind off. Ouch! Haha

    Dear Mr. B,

Poor flat-packed Martin. Well done. The story. Not Martin.

Talk about consequences. Time travel is certainly a risk. Poor Martin. Hopefully, they’ll get the calculations down soon. I’d like to give it a try. ๐Ÿ™‚
